Parsons is looking for a Senior Highway CAD Technician in Dubai to support major road and expressway projects. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of CAD drafting experience in highway or infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years of experience working on road or major infrastructure developments.
• Strong knowledge of highway design standards and construction workflows.
• Ability to manage complex drawings and coordinate across project teams.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed highway and road design drawings including alignments, cross sections, and pavement layouts.
• Develop technical drawings for interchanges, junctions, roundabouts, and access roads.
• Convert engineering concepts into accurate CAD drawings.
• Update and revise drawings based on design changes and site instructions.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure drawings reflect site conditions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and client requirements.
• Organize drawing sheets, title blocks, and documentation for submissions.
• Support preparation of shop drawings and as-built records.
• Assist in coordination and clash detection between highways and utilities.
• Maintain structured digital records ensuring proper version control.
• Provide technical guidance for junior CAD technicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver design packages.
