Job summary

Parsons Corporation in Dubai seeks a BIM-CAD Specialist - Highway with 8–10 years' experience to support highway design through advanced BIM modeling, CAD drafting, and multidisciplinary coordination. You will guide junior modelers and help deliver digital design using Civil 3D and Navisworks.

Required are strong knowledge of LOD, CDE workflows (ProjectWise/BIM 360), and the ability to produce drawings and clash reports, coordinating with Roads Digital Design leads to ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Requires Civil Engineering background with extensive BIM-CAD experience.
• Strong knowledge of Civil 3D, Navisworks, and OpenRoads.
• Experience with Common Data Environment platforms (ProjectWise, BIM 360).
• Ability to supervise junior BIM staff and ensure QA/QC standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support drafting assignments for highway design packages.
• Coordinate with departments and guide junior team members.
• Communicate with management and production teams on modeling matters.
• Use Civil 3D and Dynamo in modeling and design delivery.
• Supervise BIM staff and provide guidance on BIM and CAD activities.
• Advise senior management on modeling and digital delivery matters.
• Develop training material for BIM processes.
• Apply CDE practices to model production and information management.
• Collaborate with Roads Design leads to maintain standards.
• Create engineering drawings including layouts and assemblies.
• Manage BIM activities from project startup to completion.
• Review drawings for readability and standards compliance.
• Create parametric content for model development.
• Apply Level of Development requirements across workflows.
• Coordinate with disciplines to address model issues.
• Use Navisworks for clash detection and clash reports.
• Produce schedules and quantity extractions from models.
