Job summary

Al Futtaim Private Company (LLC) is seeking a Technician for our Truck Division to service and repair heavy commercial vehicles in the workshop and in the field. You will respond to emergency breakdowns when customers need us and maintain current technical knowledge, taking ownership of quality on every job.

The role involves carrying out servicing, replacing wear components, and following service manuals to improve productivity.

Qualifications

Trade certificate or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering, or completed apprenticeship.
4–5 years hands-on experience with heavy commercial vehicles.
UAE driving licence is an advantage; Arabic is an advantage; willingness to support emergencies.

Responsibilities

Carry out vehicle servicing and checks for trouble-free operation.
Replace wear components such as brake pads, air bellows, belts and pulleys.
Identify problems early while working in workshop and on site.
Follow workshop manuals to improve productivity and efficiency.
Read and apply workshop manual instructions using service checklists.
Explain work completed clearly to Foreman and Service Advisor.
Support customers with round-the-clock service and emergency breakdown response.
