Job summary

CDhorizon is seeking a skilled Service Technician – Heavy Earthmoving Equipment to join our UAE operations. This role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, graders, and other heavy machinery, in both workshop and field settings.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults with advanced tools, and ensure safety and quality standards across construction, mining, and infrastructure projects in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Diploma, ITI, or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years hands-on experience servicing heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Experience with major brands: Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo, Liebherr, or JCB.
• Proficient in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain faults.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and major repairs on heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex faults using diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing to minimize downtime.
• Overhaul engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and undercarriage components.
• Provide on-site field service support and customer guidance.
• Document all service activities and maintain service histories.
