Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics or health informatics.
• Advanced Power BI and data visualization skills, including DAX and data modeling.
• Expert SQL skills with complex joins, windows, CTEs and optimization.
• Strong Python skills for data analysis and modeling (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
• Healthcare familiarity and knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH data governance desirable.
• 5+ years in healthcare analytics and experience with EHR/EMR data.

Responsibilities

• Leads design, development and maintenance of advanced dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Writes and optimizes complex SQL queries across large healthcare datasets.
• Analyzes metrics such as patient outcomes, readmissions, LOS, and cost-of-care.
• Ensures data governance and regulatory compliance in analyses and reporting.
• Partners with clinical, operations, finance and executives to define KPIs and deliver insights.
• Uses Python for data wrangling, automation and predictive modeling.
• Applies statistical techniques to evaluate outcomes and cost trends.
• Mentors junior analysts on SQL, Python and dashboard design.
• Drives automation of recurring reports and improves data pipelines.
• Collaborates with data engineering on ETL and data warehouse design.
