Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai seeks a senior health and safety leader to ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of HSE standards across the Rail Agency.

You will promote a proactive safety culture through strategic planning, performance audits, incident investigations, and stakeholder engagement while supporting regulatory compliance and excellence program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 6+ years (8+ with bachelor) of experience in health and safety roles.
• Certifications such as EFQM or DGEP are advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to strategic health and safety planning by integrating hazard trends and legislative updates.
• Support departments in aligning with safety standards and maintaining compliance readiness.
• Conduct benchmarking studies to adopt safety best practices across programs.
• Monitor contractor, consultant, and partner compliance with safety requirements.
• Lead risk assessments, site inspections, and hazard identification with corrective actions.
• Investigate workplace incidents and perform root cause analysis with preventive measures.
• Facilitate safety committee meetings and cross-department workshops to review KPIs.
• Manage overall Health and Safety performance for the agency and partners.
• Develop and deliver safety training on hazard awareness, emergency response, and incident reporting.
• Update safety procedures, manuals, and emergency protocols based on lessons learned.
