Job summary

REAPHR in Abu Dhabi, UAE is seeking an experienced Import & Export Manager to oversee end-to-end international trade operations. The role covers documentation, customs clearance, freight coordination, regulatory compliance, and partner management to ensure timely shipments.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of Incoterms, freight forwarding, and trade documentation, with 6–10 years in logistics leadership. A related bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of customs clearance and international trade procedures.
• Experience with Incoterms 2020 and various freight modes.
• Proficient in shipping documentation and trade compliance.
• Ability to negotiate rates and manage costs with providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import and export operations, including air, sea, and land shipments.
• Prepare, review, and verify shipping and customs documentation.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers.
• Manage customs clearance processes and ensure timely release of shipments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.
