Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a Consultant Gastroenterologist - Endoscopy and Hepatology in Dubai to deliver expert care across outpatient, inpatient, and endoscopic services. The role requires independent management of complex gastroenterology cases, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy, within DHA guidelines.

Applicants should have MBBS or equivalent, Board Certification in Gastroenterology, and 5-7 years post-specialization experience.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized for professional practice in Dubai.
• Board Certification or Fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• DHA Consultant Gastroenterologist license or valid eligibility for consultant licensing.
• Minimum 5-7 years of post-specialization experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients presenting with gastrointestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary disorders.
• Investigate abdominal pain, reflux, swallowing difficulties, altered bowel habits, GI bleeding, and other digestive symptoms.
• Perform upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Provide ongoing care for patients with chronic digestive disorders and coordinate with surgical teams as needed.
• Review medications, allergies, and comorbidities before invasive procedures.
• Maintain complete clinical records and endoscopy reports; ensure DHA regulations are followed.
