Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a female Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. You will diagnose and treat GI, liver, pancreatic and digestive disorders while delivering patient-centered care in line with international medical standards.

You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, develop individualized treatment plans, supervise junior staff, and collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, dietitians and internal medicine

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DHA.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as Consultant Gastroenterologist.
• Minimum 5-7 years of post-specialization experience in a reputed hospital or healthcare facility.
• Expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases related to the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, and internal medicine specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with DHA regulations and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education programs.
• Supervise junior medical staff when required.
