Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy represents a leading UAE healthcare facility seeking an experienced Consultant / Specialist Gastroenterologist with American Board certification to join its expert medical team on site in the UAE.

Candidates must have MBBS/MD, ABMS board certification, and strong endoscopy skills; you will provide inpatient and outpatient GI care, perform endoscopy, and collaborate with surgeons and radiologists.

Qualifications

MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
American Board Certification in Gastroenterology (ABMS-recognized) is preferred.
Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
Strong experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
Current professional registration/licence and Good Standing Certificate.
Eligibility for UAE Consultant/Specialist classification subject to PQR assessment.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions.
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and departmental activities.
