Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a Consultant Geriatric Medicine in Dubai, UAE, to lead comprehensive geriatric care for older adults with complex medical and social needs.

The role requires advanced expertise in CGA, multimorbidity management, rehabilitation, and care transitions, collaborating with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and therapists to improve independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree required.
• Accredited specialty training in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related field.
• Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine and board certification preferred.
• Eligibility for consultant licensing in UAE.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in older adults.
• Perform Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments across medical, functional, cognitive, and social domains.
• Develop individualized care plans for patients with multiple comorbidities and complex needs.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and ensure safe transitions between care settings.
• Promote prevention, rehabilitation, and healthy aging; support falls and frailty management.
