Job summary

Space42 is seeking a Senior AI Engineer focused on Geospatial Intelligence and Advanced AI to lead production-grade AI efforts that turn multi-source geospatial data into decision-ready outputs.

You will own design, experimentation, deployment, and scalability across GEOINT workflows, graph AI, and multimodal models, while upholding traceability and reliability in a multicultural UAE team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field (PhD is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML engineering (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing ML/AI algorithms and deploying them into production environments.
• Experience delivering GEOINT-grade analytics or products with QA, traceability, auditability and reliability expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of ML/AI solutions from problem framing to production deployment and monitoring.
• Provide technical direction on model selection, experimentation strategy, and architecture.
• Mentor AI Engineers; raise engineering standards through reviews and reusable patterns.
