Job summary

Nabat, a climate-tech startup in Abu Dhabi, is building a world-class data science team. The Senior Data Scientist will develop AI/ML models for geospatial data, work with satellite imagery and UAV data, and collaborate with engineers and ecologists to deliver insights and scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes cutting-edge research, cross-functional collaboration, and applying domain knowledge to restoration and climate-adaptation efforts in the UAE and beyond.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in engineering, data science, mathematics, ecological or environmental science, or similar fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI/ML models for geospatial data using satellite and drone imagery.
• Research, train, validate, and deploy models for eco-system insights.
• Collaborate with software, data engineers, ecologists and GIS analysts.
• Design scalable AI-powered systems for large geospatial time-series data.
• Communicate results and contribute to the product roadmap.
