Job summary

Client of Dr Expat in Dubai seeks a General & Laparoscopic Surgeon to perform a broad range of elective and emergency procedures while delivering high-quality patient care.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, use advanced laparoscopic techniques, manage trauma and emergency cases, and contribute to pre-and post-operative care, clinical governance and quality initiatives in a tertiary UAE hospital. Robotic surgery experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• MD/MBBS with General Surgery specialization and DHA/DOH/MOH eligibility.
• Fellowship or advanced training in Minimally Invasive/Laparoscopic Surgery preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years post-qualification experience in general surgery.
• Experience in trauma and emergency general surgery is mandatory.
• Robotic surgery experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
• Manage emergency and trauma-related general surgery cases.
• Assess diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for surgical patients.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with UAE regulations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.
• Support the development of surgical best practices within the department.
