Job summary

Qualifications

MBBS, MBChB, MD, or an equivalent recognized medical qualification.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine with Gastroenterology specialization.
Board Certification or an equivalent recognized specialist qualification.
Advanced fellowship or formal training in ERCP, Therapeutic Endoscopy, or Interventional Gastroenterology is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Provide consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for GI, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic conditions.
Independently perform diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP for appropriate clinical indications.
Conduct biliary and pancreatic sphincterotomy and stent placement when indicated.
Perform upper GI endoscopy, gastroscopy, and colonoscopy.
Carry out endoscopic biopsies, polypectomy, and hemostatic procedures.
Maintain accurate clinical notes and follow-up records.
