Job summary

NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly experienced Head of Department to lead clinical services, ensure governance, and champion quality. You will supervise staff, maintain compliance with UAE regulations, and drive continuous professional development to uphold best practices.

Qualifications

• Qualified and licensed Medical Practitioner.
• 3-5 years’ post qualification experience at consultant level.
• 1 year consultant level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by UAE regulator.
• Basic medical degree and completion of higher education programme recognised by UAE authority.

Responsibilities

• Continuously builds knowledge to deliver expert service within own scope of work.
• Responds to client complaints timely and provides progress feedback.
• Maintains professional relationships and delegates tasks per guidelines.
• Identifies and reports non-compliance to stakeholders and promotes quality health care.
• Supervises department staff and provides guidance on patient care when indicated.
• Develops and implements Peer Review and quality assurance activities.
