Job summary

SEHA - Abu Dhabi Health Services Co. seeks a Consultant Physician to lead and supervise the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care. The physician will diagnose, manage, and treat patients, guide junior staff, and participate in audits and CME.

The role involves coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring adequate medical coverage, embedding best practices, and participating in on-call duties across the department.

Qualifications

• Tier 1: NLT 2 years relevant experience as a consultant or equivalent post board certification.
• Tier 2: NLT 8 years full-time employment as a Consultant or equivalent post board certification (includes years in fellowship training) in internationally accredited institute.
• For UAE Nationals: Clinical Fellowship training following primary specialty board may substitute for experience; each year counts as two years of clinical experience; applicable to certain fellowship programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise delivery of evidence-based care.
• Diagnose, manage and treat patients per established standards.
• Oversee junior medical staff and ensure adequate medical coverage.
• Participate in audits and CME; support clinical research and publication.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary care and on-call duties as required.
