Job summary

Kavak UAE is building the Middle East’s leading used-car platform and expanding into adjacent services. This CFO-level role owns planning, modelling and decision support, turning data into actionable recommendations for the GM and Group CFO.

You will build and stress-test multi-statement models, oversee governance, and drive automation with cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Operations, Legal, and external partners.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in FP&A, business planning, strategy, consulting, corporate finance or performance management.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling; working knowledge of Google Sheets.
• SQL and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker for data extraction and analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to influence and challenge commercial teams using data.
• Solid grounding in P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, and working capital/inventory economics.
• Self-driven and organized, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Data/Information Systems or another quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the business plan and rolling forecast with integrated three-statement models.
• Maintain model governance: inputs, calculations, outputs, version control and assumptions.
• Evaluate feasibility and ROI for new markets and business verticals.
• Analyze performance vs plan and provide quantified recommendations with owners and timelines.
• Create finance reports and dashboards; extract data from source systems using SQL.
• Prepare board, GM and CFO materials and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Lead process improvements and automation including AI-assisted analysis.
