Job summary

Amazon Middle East and North Africa FZ-LLC is seeking a Finance FP&A professional to partner with the MENA, Türkiye and South Africa teams. You will own monthly closes, validate results, drive controllership, and lead ad-hoc analyses to support leadership decisions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in finance or tax, experience with KPI analyses, automation, and standardization. A degree in engineering, statistics or business is required; MBA or CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years applying KPIs to analyses.
• 3+ years creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
• 3+ years identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance tools and processes.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to FP&A contact for peers in MENA, Türkiye and South Africa finance and business teams.
• Owning financial bridging and storytelling during monthly and quarterly close cycles, validating results.
• Ensuring a high level of financial controls are followed, maintaining data integrity.
• Lead month-end close activities with holistic ownership across P&L and balance sheet.
• Own ad-hoc responses to questions from leadership in finance and business on intra-month performance.
• Drive controllership of MENA/Türkiye/South Africa Stores financials, understanding actuals and variances.
• Active business partner driving actuals variances analysis with Stores Finance, Operations, Payments, Customer Service, Prime and Marketing.
• Drive an AI-based roadmap to automate and simplify weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting cycles.
• Provide accurate and insightful financial reports.
• Find opportunities to use global standards and transfer repetitive tasks to global teams.
• Develop financial skills across the organization.
