Job summary

PERI GmbH Formwork Scaffolding Engineering is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer (8+ years) for advanced formwork and shoring design in Dubai. You will deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective engineering solutions, produce drawings, calculations, and reports, and lead reviews with clients and contractors on major infrastructure projects.

Applicants should have a Civil/Mechanical engineering degree, strong AutoCAD RFEM/RSTAB skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of formwork, falsework, shoring and scaffolding design experience.
• Experience on major infrastructure projects such as bridges and tunnels.
• Strong capability in structural analysis and international codes.

Responsibilities

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in formwork, falsework, shoring and scaffolding design.
• Proven experience working on major infrastructure projects such as bridges and tunnels.
• Strong capability in structural analysis, engineering calculations and interpretation of international design standards.
• Self-motivated professional with a proactive attitude and strong ownership of assigned projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Dlubal RFEM, RSTAB and PERI Force Control would be a distinct advantage.
• Site experience in construction, temporary works or infrastructure delivery is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic or Mandarin would be advantageous.
