AimGulf is seeking a Senior Food Safety Officer in Dubai, UAE to inspect large food businesses and shipments, ensuring compliance with food-safety standards. The role involves documenting findings, coordinating with authorities, and producing daily inspection reports.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Food Safety or related field and at least 3 years of experience. The position is full-time and on-site with duties across inspections, documentation, and enforcement actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Safety, Food Science, Food Processing, Public Health, or Environmental Health.
• Experience: 3 years in food safety or related field.
• Excellent communication and field inspection skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan inspections of large food businesses.
• Inspect handling, transport, staff hygiene, and compliance with food-safety rules.
• Review documents such as pest-control contracts, certificates, temperature logs, and health cards.
• Enter inspection data into electronic systems and classify packaged foods.
• Inspect imported/exported shipments at ports/free zones and follow up on detentions.
• Prepare daily reports and escalate issues when needed.
• Record violations and ensure case closure; follow disposal procedures as required.
