Talents Tide is seeking a Food Safety Officer to inspect small food businesses and items at the emirate’s entry points and free zones. You will record findings and verify compliance with food-safety requirements, performing duties across field locations and reporting through an electronic system.

The role emphasizes 60%+ field work, with a bachelor’s degree in Food Safety or related fields and 1–3 years of experience. Basic knowledge of HACCP/ISO 22000 and risk assessment is expected.

• 1-3 years experience required.
• Field-based work with more than 60% field work.
• No supervisory responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Inspect small food businesses and ports/ free zones.
• Record findings and check compliance with applicable food-safety requirements.
• Enter establishment information and inspection reports in the electronic system.
• Detain imported food shipments that are prohibited or appear unfit on inspection.
• Prepare daily reports on completed inspections and obstacles.
• Investigate complaints and refer to the supervisor as needed.
• Carry out other related duties as directed.
