Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Food & HSE Compliance In-Charge to lead compliance, audits, and training across operations in a fast-paced UAE environment. The role requires hands-on management of large blue-collar teams and strict adherence to HACCP, ISO, and local regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a postgraduate in Food Science with mandatory certifications (Internal Trainer, ISO Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, Advanced Food Safety Level IV, HACCP Level V, PIC) and has proven experience in e‑commerce or FMCG

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Food Science is mandatory.
• Internal Trainer Certification is mandatory.
• ISO Lead Auditor Certification is mandatory.
• NEBOSH Certification is mandatory.
• Advanced Food Safety Level IV is mandatory.
• HACCP Level V is mandatory.
• PIC Certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Food Safety & HSE compliance across all operational areas.
• Conduct internal audits and readiness for external audits (ISO, municipality, regulatory).
• Maintain and update all food safety and HSE documentation, SOPs, and risk assessments.
• Drive incident reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action closure.
• Act as the internal trainer for food safety, hygiene, and HSE programs for staff across all shifts.
• Ensure strict implementation of HACCP, ISO, PIC requirements, and UAE regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and QA teams to maintain compliance across cold chain, handling, storage, waste management, transport, and facility hygiene.
• Manage compliance for large teams (blue-collar workforce experience is essential).
• Support customer audits, third-party inspections, and regulatory visits.
