Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced EHS Executive for a food & beverage manufacturing facility in Dubai.

The role drives safety, environmental compliance and occupational health programs across plant operations to ensure OSHA, EPA, FDA and local food-safety regulations compliance. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in EHS within food processing, with expertise in ammonia safety (PSM), machine guarding, waste water management and ergonomics; ASP/CSP/NEBOSH

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive EHS experience in a Food & Beverage manufacturing facility
• Experience managing Ammonia Safety (PSM), Machine Guarding, Wastewater/Effluent Management, & Ergonomics
• Certifications ASP, CSP, or NEBOSH Diploma are highly preferred
• OSHA 30-Hour Food Processing certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Direct plant operations to meet OSHA EPA & state regulatory standards
• Oversee waste water treatment & air quality permits specific to food processing operations
• Incident Prevention & Investigation: root-cause analysis & preventive measures to lower TRIR
• Industrial Hygiene & Chemical Safety: manage chemical hazards incl. ammonia refrigeration systems
• PSM/RMP compliance where applicable & airborne dust management (flour/dry spice)
• Cross-Functional Training: deliver EHS training on LOTO, Machine Guarding & PPE
• Audit & Continuous Improvement: lead internal audits & support external audits (GFSI SQF/BRC)

Position Summary

They are urgently looking for an experienced EHS Executive with 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a Food amp Beverage Manufacturing facility Manages Environment Health amp Safety EH amp S through internal protocols workplace compliance amp sustainability programs management Will lead safety environmental compliance amp occupational health programs across plant operationsensuring full compliance with OSHA EPA FDA amp local food safety regulations HACCP ISO14001 ISO 45001

Key Focus Areas of EHS Plant

amp Store Safety Conducting hazard identification risk assessments amp daily safety audits for manufacturing amp retail operations under local factory amp labor acts Food Safety amp Hygiene Enforcing strict protocols including regular temperature logs for cold-holding storage sanitation sweeps amp compliance with health department codes Workwear amp Sanitation Partnering with specialized hygiene providers for traceable professionally laundered uniform management to maintain clean production environments Sustainability amp ESG Implementing green initiatives energy conservation amp waste reduction across regional facilities

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance Direct plant operations to meet OSHA EPA amp state regulatory standards Oversee waste management wastewater treatment amp air quality permits specific to food processing operations Incident Prevention amp Investigation Conduct root-cause analysis RCA for safety incidents near-misses amp ergonomics risks Implement preventive measures to lower Total Recordable Incident Rate TRIR Industrial Hygiene amp Chemical Safety Manage chemical hazard controls including sanitizer safety ammonia refrigeration systems PSM RMP compliance where applicable amp airborne dust management e.g flour or dry spice handling Cross-Functional Training Build amp deliver EHS training for floor technicians sanitation staff amp leadership teams regarding LOTO Lockout Tagout Machine Guarding amp PPE standards Audit amp Continuous Improvement Lead internal audits amp support third-party GFSI SQF BRC audits ensuring seamless alignment between food safety amp occupational EHS

Master / Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or related science with 5+ years of progressive EHS experience. Proven experience managing Ammonia Safety (PSM), Machine Guarding, Wastewater/Effluent Management, & Ergonomics. Certifications ASP, CSP, or NEBOSH Diploma are highly preferred.
