Job summary

Viiking Beverages in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations in a fast-moving consumer goods environment. You will manage the general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, and statutory compliance including UAE VAT and corporate tax matters.

The role requires 6–8 years of core accounting experience, ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics/Tally), and strong IFRS knowledge.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of core accounting experience in FMCG, retail, or wholesale distribution.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; CA Inter, ACCA or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, journal entries, AP and AR.
• Conduct reconciliations with banks, vendors and customers.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Handle UAE VAT returns, corporate tax compliance and audit trails.
• Track product costing, BOM, landed costs and COGS across warehouses.
• Perform monthly physical inventory counts and reconcile variances.
• Establish and review internal control procedures; coordinate with external auditors.
