Job summary

CFI Financial Group is hiring a Senior Accounting Operations and Consolidation Manager to strengthen our finance team in Dubai. You will oversee statutory reporting under IFRS and SCA, ensure timely regulatory filings, and lead disclosures under IAS 33 and IFRS 8 while managing ARA and ICOFR programs.

You will partner with the CFO to analyze financial performance, trends, and variances, while maintaining strong internal controls and coordinating with auditors, regulators, and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA) or equivalent.
• 8–10 years in financial control or reporting; 3+ years in UAE publicly listed company.
• Strong knowledge of SCA regulations, IFRS, and UAE tax/compliance requirements.
• Experience with IAS 33 and IFRS 8 disclosures, ARA, and ICOFR frameworks.
• Familiarity with ERP/financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee statutory financial statements and quarterly reports in IFRS and SCA compliance.
• Ensure timely submission of SCA filings, disclosures, and financial reports.
• Lead the preparation of disclosures under IAS 33 and IFRS 8.
• Manage the preparation of Annual Reports & Accounts (ARA).
• Oversee ICOFR implementation and effectiveness.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment; ensure regulatory/audit compliance.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and consultants on audits.
• Support the CFO in analyzing performance, trends, and variances.
• Monitor SCA regulatory developments and update policies accordingly.
• Ensure completeness/accuracy of financial systems and reconciliations.
• Contribute to governance, risk management, and audit committee reporting.

• Prepare and oversee statutory financial statements and quarterly reports in compliance with IFRS and SCA regulations.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of all SCA regulatory filings, disclosures, and other financial reports.

• Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR).
• Maintain a strong internal control environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.

• Support the CFO in analyzing financial performance, trends, and variances.

• Contribute to corporate governance, risk management, and audit committee reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA) or equivalent certification.
• 8-10 years of experience in financial control or reporting, with at least3 years in a publicly listed company in the UAE.
• Strong working knowledge of SCA regulations, IFRS, and UAE tax and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience in IAS 33 and IFRS 8 disclosures, ARA preparation, and ICOFR frameworks.
• Familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in financial services, capital markets, or the brokerage sector preferred.
• Experience working within CFD brokerage firms or regulated financial services companies is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with XBRL reporting as per SCA standards is required.
