Job summary

MultiBank Group, a global financial pioneer with Dubai headquarters, seeks a Senior Data Analyst to join the Quantitative Dealing team. You will own critical reporting, analytics, and internal data apps, working with Quantitative Analysts to deliver reliable, scalable solutions across dealing, finance, and management functions.

The role emphasizes independent ownership of data investigations, design, and ongoing enhancement of analytics workflows, with strong focus on Python, SQL, and AWS-based

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years in data analytics or reporting roles.
  • Experience in FX/CFD/brokerage environments.
  • Proficient in Python for data processing and automation.
  • Strong SQL skills with complex datasets.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing production reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Understanding of data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve a portfolio of business-critical reports, analytics, and internal data applications.
  • Take ownership of incoming reporting and analytical requests, translating business requirements into reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Investigate, reconcile, and resolve complex data discrepancies across multiple systems and stakeholders.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on reporting issues and implement sustainable long-term solutions.
  • Use Python and SQL to extract, transform, validate, and analyze large datasets.
  • Design, develop, and enhance reporting workflows, analytical processes, and internal tools in response to evolving business requirements.
  • Work with AWS-based data infrastructure, including Glue, Data Catalog, Athena, and related services.
  • Document reporting logic, business rules, data lineage, and technical processes.
  • Investigate business questions and provide analytical insights based on trading and operational data.
  • Support validation and critical review of existing risk management and dealing methodologies when required.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to apply AI-driven tools and techniques to client profiling, reporting, and daily analytical workflows, improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the reporting ecosystem.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Quantitative Dealing team and take ownership of a growing portfolio of business-critical reporting, analytics, and internal data applications.

This role is focused on ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and continuous improvement of the reporting ecosystem supporting Dealing, Management, Finance, and other business functions. The successful candidate will work closely with Quantitative Analysts while taking ownership of reporting and analytical initiatives from requirement gathering through delivery.

The role is expected to operate with a high degree of independence, owning investigations, solution design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of reporting and analytics workflows, with support from the Quantitative Dealing team on business context and domain expertise.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to understand complex chains of business and system events. It is particularly suited to candidates with experience in FX, CFD, or brokerage environments who enjoy solving data problems, owning analytical processes, and building reliable data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Reporting Analytics or similar data-focused roles.
  • Mandatory experience working within FX, CFD, brokerage, trading, or financial markets environments.
  • Working proficiency in Python for data processing, analysis, automation, and reconciliation tasks.
  • Good SQL skills and experience working with complex datasets.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing production reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Understanding of how reporting workflows interact across data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption layers.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data validation and quality assurance.
  • Ability to investigate and reconstruct complex sequences of business and system events.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with MetaQuotes MT4 and MT5 databases and trading data structures.
  • Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing.
  • Familiarity with AWS Glue and the AWS Data Catalog ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Athena.
  • Exposure to AWS Lambda, Step Functions, or EventBridge.
  • Understanding of dealing operations, liquidity management, risk management, P&L reporting, or related brokerage workflows.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with the ability to introduce and integrate AI-based approaches into client profiling, reporting, and day-to-day analytical tasks.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI tools (e.g., LLMs, machine learning models, or intelligent automation) to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of reporting and client analytics.
