Job summary

Credo Talent Solutions client, a leading integrated steel and building materials manufacturer in the UAE, seeks a Senior Manager – Financial Controller to lead the finance function of its Steel Unit. Reporting to the Group CFO and leading a team of 16, you will own financial integrity, compliance and performance insight.

This role oversees accounting operations, budgeting, IFRS/GAAP compliance, financial planning, internal controls, and collaboration with production and supply chain to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• CPA, CMA or equivalent professional certification (essential).
• 10+ years in financial management with 5+ years in a senior manufacturing role.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations — AP, AR, GL, cost and inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance and local regulations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance reporting.
• Develop financial models for capital investments and cost optimization.
• Implement internal controls and robust financial systems.
• Partner with production and supply chain to align financial and operational goals.
• Coordinate audits and tax planning.
• Lead and develop the finance team and drive automation.
