Revibe in Dubai seeks a Senior Financial Controller & FP&A to own the monthly close, budgeting and group reporting across UAE and other markets. You will build the reporting suite, ensure accuracy of P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, and drive automation with the Director of Finance.

You will lead the consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, tax support and ad hoc FP&A projects, with a hands-on, lean team. Fluency in English is essential.

Formación

• 5+ years in FP&A, financial control or audit (Big 4 background is a plus)
• Strong command of the three financial statements and month-end close
• Proven experience reconciling high volumes of transactions across several data sources
• Experience with Shopify and payment gateways is a plus
• Fluent English and ability to work in a fast-paced, lean environment

Revibe is a fast-growing marketplace for refurbished electronics, operating across the UAE, KSA, South Africa and other markets. We connect certified sellers with customers through our own e-commerce platforms and a wide network of payment partners.

The group runs four legal entities across the UAE and South Africa. Finance sits at the heart of the business: every order, refund, payout and fee flows through our numbers, and their accuracy drives the decisions we make every week.

Role overview

We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller & FP&A to build, own and maintain the full reporting suite of the group and guarantee the accuracy of the business numbers.

You will own the monthly financial statements, cash and runway reporting and the budget, and run the reconciliations that tie our sales platforms, payment gateways, banks and database together. On group projects (transfer pricing, e-invoicing, consolidation, audits), you will work alongside the Director of Finance, who leads them.

Our ambition is a fully digitalised finance function. You will support the Director of Finance in implementing all our finance tools and in automating our processes end to end, so that the team spends its time on analysis rather than manual work. This is a hands‑on role in a lean team, where you build the tools, not just run them.

Key responsibilities

Financial reporting

• Build and maintain the monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement, by entity and consolidated
• Produce the monthly burn and runway analysis and keep the cash forecast up to date
• Prepare clear monthly reporting packs for management with KPIs, variance analysis and commentary
• Continuously improve reporting quality, automation and turnaround time

Budget and forecasting

• Lead the annual budget process and periodic reforecasts
• Track actuals against budget monthly and explain the main variances
• Support management with scenario analysis and business cases

Reconciliations

• GMV and refunds: reconcile sales and refunds between Shopify and payment gateway statements
• Gateway payouts: reconcile payment gateway settlements against bank receipts
• Fees: reconcile gateway fees between contracts, statements and the database, and flag overcharges
• Shipping: reconcile shipping costs per order against carrier invoices and the database
• Intercompany: reconcile intercompany balances and transactions across the group entities
• Seller payouts: support the weekly seller payout run and its reconciliation
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and external partners

Month‑end close

• Maintain the closing calendar and make sure every task is delivered on time
• Prepare month-end accruals and their reversals
• Contribute to a timely and accurate monthly close, with full supporting documentation
• Strengthen controls and processes as the business scales

Tax, audit and group projects

• Support the implementation of the group transfer pricing policy
• Support the implementation of e‑invoicing and understand its VAT implications
• Support the statutory audit of each entity, from audit file preparation to auditor queries

Finance digitalisation

• Support the implementation of all finance tools (ERP, consolidation, e‑invoicing, reporting and reconciliation automation)
• Automate reporting and reconciliations end to end, reducing manual work to a minimum
• Document processes and tools so they stay clear, repeatable and auditable

Requirements

Must have

• 5+ years in FP&A, financial control or audit (Big 4 background is a plus), ideally in marketplace, e-commerce or fintech
• Strong command of the three financial statements and month‑end close, including accruals
• Proven experience reconciling high volumes of transactions across several data sources
• Advanced Google Sheets skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, large datasets); we work in Google Sheets
• Comfortable with AI tools and using them in daily work
• Deadline-oriented, able to deliver on time under pressure
• Produces work that is clear, checkable and auditable, with a full trail from source to output
• Curious and proactive: you question how things are done and bring ideas to make the finance function evolve
• Process-minded: you enjoy understanding how processes work end to end, so you can clarify, document and streamline them
• Rigour and attention to detail: you do not let a gap go unexplained
• Autonomy and ownership in a fast‑paced, lean environment
• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Accounting qualification
• SQL skills to automate reporting and reconciliations
• Experience with Shopify and payment gateways (Stripe, Checkout.com, Tabby, Tamara or similar)
• Experience with Zoho Books or another cloud ERP
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and multi‑entity, multi‑currency environments
• Arabic or French is a plus
