Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a fast-growing European deep-tech company. You will build financial models underpinning investments and present ROI directly to clients and partners, collaborating with commercial, operations and product teams.

Remote-based in the EMEA region, with occasional travel to client sites and HQ. Fluency in English is mandatory; experience in startup/capex-heavy industries is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Senior-level corporate finance/FP&A experience in capex-intensive environments such as infrastructure, energy, data centers or industrials.
• Excellent financial modeling skills (ROI, NPV/IRR, multi-scenario business plans).
• Ability to present and simplify complex financial analysis for non-financial audiences, including clients and partners.
• Strong understanding of cost and profitability mechanics of physical assets (capex, depreciation, operating costs, recurring revenue).
• Analytical, structured thinking with rigor in producing finance deliverables under time pressure.
• Fluent English (mandatory); working French is a plus.
• Comfort working in a fast-growing environment with shifting priorities and limited established processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as Finance Business Partner to commercial, operations and product teams, providing financial analysis for key decisions.
• Build and maintain financial simulation models (business plans, unit economics, deployment scenarios) to support growth.
• Model and present ROI and TCO of infrastructure deployments to clients and partners.
• Own monthly financial reporting, profitability analysis by site/unit, and KPI tracking.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting and challenge operational assumptions with business teams.
• Analyze cost structures of manufacturing and deploying infrastructure units to identify optimization levers.
• Prepare materials for governance bodies and support due diligence for fundraising or asset financing.
• Collaborate with finance teams across group entities for consistency of models and reporting.
