Job Description / Role:

An established business in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead its financial operations and support strategic decision‑making. The position offers a broad remit across financial management, treasury, compliance and commercial finance within a project‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading financial management activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Ensuring robust financial controls, effective governance and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing treasury, liquidity, banking relationships and working capital management.
• Providing commercial and financial insights to support operational performance, business planning and investment decisions.
• Managing statutory audit requirements, tax compliance and financial reporting obligations.
• Partnering with operational stakeholders to monitor financial performance, manage costs and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Leading and developing team members while promoting accountability and operational efficiency.
• Supporting finance transformation initiatives, including process optimisation and improvements to financial systems.

Experience Required:

• Significant financial management and leadership experience within project‑based, capital‑intensive or B2B industries. Track record of working within engineering, infrastructure, construction, industrial services or similarly complex operational environments.
• A strong background in financial controllership, treasury, cash flow management, reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience managing statutory audits and engaging with external auditors (preferably Big4 or Big10)

Education Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with a recognised professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA preferred.

Skills Required:

• Sound knowledge of IFRS, UAE taxation and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work effectively with senior business stakeholders.
