Senior Field Expeditor – Oil & Gas EPC (LLI Tracking)

Job summary

Orbit ISS is seeking a Field Expeditor to be based in our India Office. You will monitor and expedit eLLIs for EPC projects, ensuring timely progress from PO to delivery, coordinating with vendors, procurement, engineering, QA/QC, logistics and project teams.

Role requires watching schedules, managing documentation, conducting vendor visits, and preparing progress reports. Travel to vendor/manufacturing facilities and project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, supply chain, procurement, or related field.
• 10 years of field/vendor expediting experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, marine or EPC projects.
• Proven experience in LLI expediting, vendor coordination, and progress monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of vendor schedules, engineering docs, material procurement, inspections/FAT, and shipment readiness.
• Experience in vendor visits and physical progress verification.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Office; SAP/ERP and Primavera P6 are advantageous.
• Strong communication, reporting, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to vendor/manufacturing facilities and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vendor manufacturing progress against schedules, PO milestones, and planned delivery dates.
• Coordinate with vendors for updates on engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, inspections, FAT, and release.
• Review vendor schedules and track actual versus planned progress, flagging delays and risks early.
• Follow up on engineering and manufacturing documentation and data packs.
• Conduct vendor visits to verify manufacturing progress, material readiness, inspections and testing.
• Prepare expediting reports, progress updates, photos, and LLIs trackers (PO status, progress, inspections, shipment, delivery).
• Escalate delays and deviations and coordinate recovery plans with vendors and teams.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, engineering, procurement, logistics and construction on inspections, release, packing, shipping docs, dispatch and delivery.
