Job summary

AHS is seeking a Senior Vice President – Family Office (Private Investments) to lead the principal’s private investment portfolio and set the investment strategy. You will oversee direct investments, fund commitments and complex wealth-structuring across UAE and international markets, ensuring institutional governance and confidentiality.

You will manage risk, liquidity and reporting, while leading the Family Office team and external advisers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field; MBA, CFA or CAIA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in investment management, private equity, investment banking or a single- or multi-family office, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Senior experience at a tier-one global financial institution or equivalent.
• Proven track record of managing multi-asset portfolios and direct private investments.
• Strong knowledge of wealth structuring, family governance and UAE regulatory and tax environment.
• Experience working with ultra-high-net-worth families in the GCC.

Responsibilities

• Lead Family Office investment strategy and asset allocation across public markets, private equity, real estate and alternatives.
• Source, evaluate and execute direct investments, co-investments and fund commitments in UAE and internationally.
• Oversee portfolio performance, liquidity management and capital-plan to meet family commitments.
• Manage governance, risk, compliance and external relationships with banks, fund managers and advisers.
• Oversee team leadership, budgeting, accounting, consolidation and audit.
