Job summary

Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development is seeking a skilled facilities and buildings administrator to manage a broad range of operational tasks including planning, budgeting, vendor oversight, and maintenance coordination. The role requires coordinating with internal departments and external service providers to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facilities management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in buildings/facilities management.
• Strong contract and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of the operational plan for buildings and facilities activities.
• Supervise contract officers responsible for contracts related to buildings and facilities management.
• Monitor expenditure, track performance indicators and review completion rates.
• Develop annual budgets for buildings and facilities activities after collecting department requirements.
• Organize periodic meetings and distribute work to ensure high productivity.
• Verify invoices and issue completion certificates for works.
• Oversee maintenance, energy reduction, and waste management across department facilities.
• Provide technical support to contractors and respond to inquiries.
