Bakhresa Group in Dubai seeks an experienced Execution Specialist to manage end-to-end physical commodity trades from contract to settlement. You will work with Trading, Freight, Operations, Finance and Risk to ensure accurate, compliant execution in a fast-paced international trading environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in physical commodities trading, strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping docs and trade finance, and excellent English communication skills.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in physical commodities trading or related field.
• Strong understanding of physical commodity trading and international trade flows.
• Good knowledge of commodity contracts, Incoterms, shipping documentation and trade finance.
• Experience managing contractual and operational issues, including claims, demurrage, delays and delivery problems.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions, deadlines and counterparties simultaneously.
• Commercially minded, proactive and solution oriented.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage.

• Manage the full execution lifecycle of physical commodity trades, from contract conclusion through shipment, delivery and settlement.

• Manage relationships with suppliers, customers, shipowners, brokers, agents, terminals, surveyors and other counterparties.
• Monitor contractual obligations, shipment periods, vessel nominations, loading and discharge operations, quality, quantity, pricing and payment terms.
• Coordinate shipping and logistics activities and closely monitor vessel and cargo movements.
• Ensure timely and accurate management of contracts, amendments, shipping documents, invoices and other trade documentation.
• Identify and proactively resolve operational, contractual and commercial issues arising during execution.
• Manage and elevate potential claims, defaults, delays, demurrage, quality/quantity disputes and contractual deviations.
• Coordinate with Finance on invoicing, payments, letters of credit, guarantees and trade settlement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date trade records and ensure execution information is properly reflected in internal systems.
• Work closely with Risk and Compliance to ensure transactions remain within approved limits and procedures.
• Provide traders and management with regular updates on shipment status, outstanding contractual matters and execution risks.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the company's execution procedures, controls and systems.

• The role is responsible for Bulk and containerised cargo the end-to-end execution of physical commodity transactions, from contract conclusion through shipment, delivery and settlement.
• Working closely with Trading, Freight, Operations, Finance and Risk, the role ensures that transactions are executed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with contractual, commercial, operational and risk requirements.
• This position requires a strong understanding of physical commodity trading, international logistics, shipping and trade documentation, together with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced international trading environment.
• You are expected to take full ownership of complex transactions, manage multiple trades simultaneously and operate independently within delegated authority.
• This role requires the ability to anticipate execution risks, solve problems pragmatically, coordinate multiple stakeholders and elevate material issues promptly.
• Successful candidate may also be responsible for supporting and mentoring junior execution staff and contributing to the development of the company's execution function as the business grows.
