Job summary

UNICO MEA is seeking an Estimation Manager for Joinery & Wooden Doors in the UAE. You will lead the estimation and tendering process, prepare take-offs, analyze drawings, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience in joinery/tendering, UAE/GCC project exposure is a plus, and strong cost estimation skills with proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of estimation/tendering experience in joinery, wooden doors, or interior fit-out projects.
• Experience with UAE/GCC projects is advantageous.
• Ability to read architectural/shop drawings, BOQs, and tender documents; strong cost estimating and pricing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage estimates and commercial proposals for joinery and wooden door projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specs, BOQs, and requirements to identify scope and pricing.
• Prepare quantity take-offs for joinery, doors, frames, finishes, ironmongery, and related items.
• Analyze specs and drawings to identify materials, finishes, methods, and technical requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, manufacturing, installation, and logistics.
• Coordinate with design, technical, procurement, production, and project teams.
• Identify exclusions, qualifications, deviations, assumptions, and commercial risks in tender documents.
