Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks a Senior Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for bespoke joinery and fit-out works, based on drawings, specifications, and scope documents. You will ensure timely submission of quotations and tenders while coordinating with design, production, procurement and project teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of estimation experience in joinery manufacturing, a technical degree, strong Excel skills, and a proven eye for detail and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of estimation experience in a joinery manufacturing setup.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of joinery materials, production processes, and site practices.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong MS Excel skills; experience with estimation software is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, time management, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications to understand project scope.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom joinery, furniture, and fit-out elements.
• Quantify materials, labor, and production hours for manufacturing and site works.
• Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and project teams for inputs.
• Request and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare cost comparisons and value engineering options to optimize pricing.
• Submit tender/bid documents per client requirements and timelines.
• Attend site visits or meetings to understand project conditions.
• Support sales and project teams with pricing clarifications.
