Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to lead environmental compliance and oversight for PMCM projects in the UAE. You will monitor regulatory adherence, conduct site inspections, and guide teams on environmental best practices to deliver sustainable outcomes.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and reporting, with opportunities to drive sustainability initiatives across multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely documentation and reporting to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 8–10 years in environmental engineering or supervision, with 3–5 years on PMCM projects.
• Rail infrastructure project experience is highly desirable.
• ISO 14001, NEBOSH certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all project activities comply with environmental regulations and standards.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and assessments to monitor compliance.
• Oversee environmental aspects of the PMCM project, aligning with goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with design, construction, and operations to integrate environmental considerations.
