Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 8–10 years in environmental engineering or supervision, with 3–5 years on PMCM projects.
• Rail infrastructure project experience is highly desirable.
• ISO 14001, NEBOSH certifications preferred.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Environmental Compliance and Oversight

• Ensure all project activities comply with local, regional, and international environmental regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and assessments to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Project Management and Supervision

• Oversee environmental aspects of the PMCM project, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including design, construction, and operations, to integrate environmental considerations into project planning and execution.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

• Identify potential environmental risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Conduct risk and opportunity reviews to ensure proactive management of environmental challenges.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact for environmental matters, liaising with regulatory authorities, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and training to project teams on environmental best practices.

Sustainability and Innovation

• Drive sustainability initiatives to minimize environmental impact and promote resource efficiency.
• Implement innovative solutions to enhance environmental performance and achieve project sustainability goals.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare detailed environmental reports, including compliance documentation, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate records of environmental activities and ensure timely submission of reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in environmental engineering or supervision, with at least 3–5 years on PMCM projects preferred.
• Proven experience in rail infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Certifications : Relevant certifications such as ISO 14001, NEBOSH, or equivalent are preferred.
