Job summary

ADNOC Abu Dhabi UAE is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer - Plant Operations to provide technical leadership across environmental management and day-to-day process operations. The role monitors emissions, flaring, liquid effluents, waste streams, air quality, noise, and other indicators while ensuring deviations are investigated and corrective actions implemented.

It supports plant reliability through performance analysis, troubleshooting, shutdown planning, incident investigation, HAZOP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
• Strong experience in environmental monitoring and emissions management.
• Experience with HAZOP, incident investigation, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor emissions, flaring, effluents, and waste to report deviations.
• Ensure ISO 14001 compliance and implement EMS improvements.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and HSE teams during outages and projects.
• Lead environmental data analysis, reporting, and environmental performance reviews.
• Provide expert advice on environmental risks and waste management practices.
