Cygnus Technologies in Sharjah, UAE is seeking an accomplished Network Engineer with 10+ years of enterprise networking and cyber security experience to lead complex routing, switching, and security deployments. You will manage Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, SD‑WAN, and Cisco ISE across multi‑vendor environments.

In this permanent role, you will own network architecture, VPNs, data center fabrics, and rigorous security hardening, while collaborating with client IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Telecommunications or related field.
• 10+ years in enterprise networking, data center ops, and security.
• Hands-on Cisco routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, VRFs).
• Experience with next-gen firewalls (Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto) and VPNs.
• Certifications: CCNP Enterprise and Fortinet NSE 4 or Palo Alto PCNSE (active).
• Experience with data center networks, F5 load balancers, SD-WAN, and Cisco ISE.
• Strong knowledge of network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
• Experience with security hardening and related practices.

Responsabilités

• Architect, configure, optimize, and maintain enterprise routing and switching fabrics.
• Administer Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs.
• Deploy data center networking, F5 load balancers, SD‑WAN.
• Configure WLAN architectures and 802.1X NAC with Cisco ISE.
• Troubleshoot complex multi-vendor network issues.
• Perform security hardening: ACL reviews and firewall tuning.
• Use SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark for telemetry.
• Maintain network docs, change logs, and incident reports.
