Senior Engineer - Technical Coordination - Dubai, UAE.

Azizi Developments is hiring a Senior Engineer - Technical Coordination to oversee design documentation, subcontractor coordination, and shop drawing management for large‑scale projects in Dubai. The role requires strong leadership, multidisciplinary coordination skills, and the ability to manage engineering workflows and drafting teams effectively.

Job Details

• Prepare GFC drawing logs, subcontractor RFP logs, and RFP update trackers for each project.
• Generate look‑ahead schedules from the engineering program to align with project timelines.
• Coordinate with structural, post‑tension, façade, landscaping, MEP, waterproofing, interior design, and other subcontractors.
• Monitor GFC logs with the document controller and ensure accurate tracking.
• Prepare RFIs, follow up with the design team, and respond to site RFIs when required.
• Coordinate with main contractors and subcontractors at site level for issue resolution.
• Lead and manage draftsman teams, ensuring shop drawings are prepared, reviewed, and delivered on schedule.
• Review and approve shop drawings across all disciplines, managing final approvals through INAXUS.
• Provide technical direction, updating draftsmen on bulk material details and project specifications.
• Work closely with the Technical Manager to support project workflows and overall design compliance.
• Review material submittals prepared by material engineers and ensure alignment with brand standards and guidelines.
• Support in reviewing, commenting, and finalizing physical samples throughout project stages.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance.
