Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Engineer – QA/QC to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across oil and gas EPC/PMC projects. The role involves managing ITPs, reviewing method statements, auditing contractors, and handling NCRs to ensure ADNOC requirements and international standards are met.

You will liaise with project teams, drive continuous improvement in QA/QC processes, and ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO and client specifications on onshore/offshore assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 17+ years of quality management experience in oil & gas.
• Mandatory experience with ADNOC projects or requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review ITPs to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Review method statements and related quality documentation.
• Conduct contractor audits to assess compliance with standards and project specs.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC codes and relevant international standards (ASME, API, ISO).

Responsibilities:

• Manage and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Review method statements and related quality documentation.
• Conduct contractor audits to assess compliance with applicable quality standards and project specifications.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), including tracking and follow-up to support resolution.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC codes, project requirements, and relevant international standards, including ASME, API, and ISO.
• Support quality management activities across onshore or offshore oil and gas EPC/PMC projects.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience:

• More than 17 years of experience in quality management within the oil and gas industry.
• Experience working on onshore or offshore Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) or Project Management Consultancy (PMC) projects.
• Mandatory experience with ADNOC projects or requirements.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications may include:

• CSWIP.
• BGAS.
• NACE.
• AWS.
• API.
• Candidates should possess relevant certifications aligned with the requirements of the role.
