Job summary

Prime Strategy Consultants in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to oversee fabrication and manufacturing projects from enquiry to delivery.

The role requires expertise in 2D/3D design, AutoCAD, and production planning, with strong costing skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously in a fast-paced workshop.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering qualification preferred.
• 6–10 years of manufacturing/engineering experience.
• AutoCAD mandatory and proficiency in 2D/3D design.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication and machining.
• Excellent estimation and costing skills.
• Experience planning and scheduling production.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Solid workshop-level technical understanding.

• Prepare/modify manufacturing and fabrication drawings
• Develop 2D & 3D designs using AutoCAD/CAD tools
• Plan machining, fabrication and production sequences
• Coordinate jobs from enquiry through production and delivery
• Follow up with Machine Shop, Fabrication, Procurement and QC
• Monitor production schedules and proactively resolve delays

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering qualification preferred
