Penspen is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer, Construction (Civil) to lead site-based onshore pipeline construction in Abu Dhabi. The role requires extensive oil & gas experience to plan, execute, and supervise works, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met in line with project requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and 15+ years in oil & gas with GCC exposure, EPC/EPCM experience, and strong leadership and HSE knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is mandatory.
15+ years of relevant oil & gas experience.
5 years in GCC region.
5 years in a similar position.
Extensive experience in oil & gas pipeline civil & structural projects.
Strong knowledge of pipeline installation, welding, testing, and commissioning.
Experience in EPC/EPCM project environments.
In-depth understanding of HSE requirements and industry codes/standards.
Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead civil & structural construction activities.
Develop construction methodologies, work packs, and schedules.
Supervise contractors and construction teams to ensure safe execution.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards, project specifications, and codes.
Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, commissioning, and project teams.
Monitor construction progress, productivity, and reporting.
Support constructability reviews and resolve site construction issues.
Interface with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
