Job summary

Dubai Airports in Dubai seeks a Senior Engineer to own reliability of ELV assets and systems (SCADA/BMS). You will perform reliability assessments, develop and implement improvement plans, and drive asset performance while reducing downtime.

You will lead root cause investigations, coordinate with maintenance and operations teams, monitor health trends, and contribute to continuous improvement for safe, reliable airport operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
• 5–7 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and condition monitoring

What you’ll deliver

• You’ll conduct reliability assessments and failure analysis for ELV systems, including SCADA and BMS Systems.
• You’ll develop and implement reliability improvement plans to enhance asset performance and reduce downtime.
• You’ll lead root cause investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• You’ll collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle management.
• You’ll monitor health and performance trends through data analysis and reliability tools.

What you bring

• You should be educated to a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineer or related , acquired 5– 7 years of relevant & overall experience
• You’ll have knowledge of equipment Criticality & risk based maintenance approaches, such as FMECA, REM; Root Cause Analysis
• You’ll have knowledge in one of the applicable engineering systems (eg.LV,MV electrical,HVAC,Mechanic,SpecialSystems, Instrumentation&Control, Structural,Airfield)
• You’ll have good understanding of Maximo CMMS from user point of view.
• You’ll have written and verbal proficiency in English language
• You’ll have strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, root cause analysis, and condition monitoring techniques.
• You’ll have proficiency in reliability tools and software systems.
• You’ll have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear insights for stakeholders at all levels.
• You’ll have skills in preparing presentations and reports for different management levels, effectively communicating technical findings and recommendations.
• You’ll have experience in managing projects and coordinating with contractors to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• You’ll be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• You’ll have certification in reliability or maintenance engineering (e.g., CMRP, CRE) will be an added advantage.
