Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Energy Consultant to lead and contribute to energy sector projects across electricity networks, renewable energy, energy storage and advisory services in the Middle East. You will independently deliver and coordinate technical work, mentor juniors and support client engagement from scoping to delivery in a hybrid Abu Dhabi setting.

The successful candidate will have 8+ years in consulting or utilities, a relevant degree, and strong English communication skills, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Energy or Power Engineering.
• Minimum of eight years of experience in consulting, utilities or related environments.
• Fluency in English; willingness to travel regionally/internationally.
• Experience with BESS or energy storage projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary energy projects across electricity networks, renewable energy and energy storage.
• Deliver feasibility studies, options studies and technical/ techno‑economic assessments.
• Provide technical advisory, owner’s engineer duties and procurement support.
• Coordinate inputs, manage scopes, budgets, quality and safety.
• Mentor junior professionals and support business development and proposals.
