Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Energy Consultant to lead energy sector projects across the Middle East, applying expertise in electricity networks, renewables, energy storage and advisory services.

You will deliver feasibility studies, assessments, and techno-economic analyses, coordinating inputs, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and mentoring junior staff. Strong English and regional experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Energy or Power Engineering; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• 8+ years in consulting, utilities, EPC or technical advisory environments.
• Strong ability to interpret complex technical information and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience with Middle East utilities or regulatory contexts is highly regarded.
• Fluent written and spoken English; occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy projects across electricity networks, renewable energy, energy storage and advisory services.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary workstreams and liaise with clients, utilities and developers.
• Develop and review technical deliverables, proposals and business development activities.
• Mentor junior professionals and maintain high standards of technical quality.
