Job summary

GHD in Dubai seeks a Senior Energy Consultant to lead and deliver energy sector projects across the Middle East, applying expertise in electricity networks, renewable energy, energy storage, grid integration and advisory services.

You will independently deliver technical work, coordinate inputs, and translate complex engineering matters into actionable findings and recommendations. The role balances technical delivery with client engagement, proposal development and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Energy or Power Engineering or related field.
• Minimum eight years in consulting, utilities, project development or technical advisory.
• Experience with BESS and Middle East projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy projects across electricity networks, renewable energy and energy storage.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary workstreams and engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Deliver feasibility studies, techno-economic assessments and due diligence.
• Review designs, calculations and technical documentation for standards alignment.
• Mentor junior professionals and contribute to proposals and business development.
• Manage scopes with schedule, budget and safety constraints.
