Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Dubai seeks a Lead Embedded Hardware Engineer to drive the hardware technology roadmap for the EMEA PMCC and LSDPI portfolio, including PLCs, low voltage switchgear, embedded systems, and IoT products.

You will lead hardware engineering for new product introduction, PCB modernization, sustaining engineering, and cost targets, collaborating across Global Business Units and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong system-level thinking and embedded hardware expertise.
• Experience with PCB design, validation, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiar with CAM tools and PCB fabrication documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the hardware technology roadmap for EMEA, covering PLCs, LV switchgear, embedded systems, and IoT products.
• Lead hardware engineering for new product introductions, PCB modernization, value engineering, and sustaining projects.
• Coordinate with Global Business Units, Product Management, and cross-functional teams to align hardware strategies.
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies in PLC platforms and hardware architectures.
• Provide technical leadership for design reviews, component selection, validation, and product lifecycle management.
• Support hardware project ownership and act as technical approver for deliverables.
